It's no surprise that this is the first Korean restaurant to open in Hong Kong, with over 60 years of history. The flavors, atmosphere and service are all superb. And what's more, it has a lively atmosphere.I was first introduced to it by a Korean friend who took me there for dinner, where I enjoyed delicious pork dishes. As my office is also nearby, I have since frequently visited for lunch. The lunch menu is also abundant. I hope to try conquering it all. I wholeheartedly recommend it without any hesitation.
The seafood and kimchi pancake was delicious. Side dishes were very tasty. The only reason it's not 5 stars is because although the kimchi is very delicious, it's missing the spicy kick that I'm used to tasting when eating in S. Korea.
2 star - Not worth.
Food is expensive despite being bland. Would recommend going elsewhere for Korean food. Atmosphere is alright. Location easy to reach and find.
Ordered:
Seafood pancake
Pork and Kimchee stew
Cold noodles
A cozy restaurant serving authentic Korean food. Love the variety of side dishes that they serve, which are all quite delicious. (Side note: the fried tofu is warm) The seafood tofu stew especially was quite good, and they gave a large amount of tofu. Would love to come back again for their Korean BBQ.
Food is mediocre for the price you’re paying. $160 for a soup with rice. Not worth it. There a better options.
Good selection of dishes from all regions Korea
Fairly disappointing with its BBQ dishes (pork way too dry even not cooked long, seasoning of beef not quite tasty) given I had extremely fond memories of dining at Arirang in Seoul. Prices a tag cheaper than its major competitors in HK but tastes not as good, while location was quite off. Interior design was too dark for me & hence not cheerful enough dining there though services for this meal were better than its other 2 competitors when I ate out there.
My family and I been coming to this Korean resturant for years.
We have tried different Korean restaurants but this is the only one we return to.
The best for money value and a great selection of choices even for vegetarians.
Great decoration,Very polite/helpful waitresses and clean.
